My name is Kat Brown. I am originally from Arizona, but I fell in love with Virginia after visiting my sister in Charlottesville in 2008. I am a married mother of 2 beautiful children. Our family loves living in Stafford, Virginia. It has the beauty of all 4 seasons, the history of our nation, and a tight-knit community. There is nothing our family loves more than watching Potomac Nationals minor league baseball (GO P-NATS!!) or visiting historic sites.

My husband was a paratrooper who was severely injured in the Army and is now permanently disabled. Because I am the spouse of a disabled veteran, I understand the needs of both military families and families with disabled needs. I love serving the military community and I will do everything that I can to ensure that military families are treated like the heroes that they are.
